One of the first ever posts I created for my humble little blog was about Oaxaca’s street art. The first time that I visited Oaxaca was in 2010 and at that time I had travelled to relatively few places. I was enraptured by everything around me, but now that I am living here, I realised how much I missed on that first trip. I didn’t try half the foods I have now consumed in Oaxaca, I missed out on visiting stunning places like Hierve El Agua, and I only scraped the surface of the incredible street art that exists here.
Now that I am living in Oaxaca, I fall more deeply in love with the place every day. And because I am not living in a neighbourhood where tourists stay, I get to see a different side of the city. It turns out that there is street art everywhere and not just on the main city streets. I’ve been here for almost two months now, and during that time, I’ve collected loads more Oaxaca street art photos. Check them out and let me know what you think!
